Kithul treacle is made from sap extracted from the inflorescence of the Kithul Palm, Caryota Urens, which grows in Sri Lanka. The treacle is made from pure sap boiled down to a sweet, dark brown syrup, thick and sweet in flavor, with a taste resembling dates with a slight hint of caramel. It is traditionally eaten with curd. It is a common ingredient in Ayurvedic medicine and a good alternative sweetener for diabetics. It also supports in preventing arthritis, improving skin complexion, relieving constipation, aiding weight loss, and combating blood sugar.

Delivery
We deliver fresh produce and groceries to almost everywhere in the Western Province of the island. You will be able to specify a delivery or pickup date for your order. For the time being, the earliest day you can choose is 1-3 days away. Your order will be delivered to you in sustainable packaging. The type of packaging we use will depend on what products are in your order and whether any of them require refrigeration. Delivery is free for all orders above Rs. 4000 and no delivery charges when you pick up goods.
Returns & Refunds
If you decide you don't want any non-perishable items in your order or if you do receive any products that are damaged or faulty you can return them to us within 07 days and we will exchange or refund the item. To return a product please email us at [email protected] within 03 days. Once we receive your return request, our team will process your request and will contact you via email to confirm your return and refund. Free Returns available within 12 hours from the time of delivery for perishable products and 24 hours for nonperishable products.
